Luomuduo (direct translation: “Organic Duo”) is a lively Finnish folk music duo performing traditional Finnish, Swedish, and Irish folk pieces. During this band photography shoot, my goal was to create scenic pictures and a music video with a healthy dose of humor.

We took the photos in a field in summertime, with the goal of getting pictures that would be as organic as possible.

Youth With a Mission, a Christian school in Switzerland, wanted a promotional video that would impact young people and generate interest for their course offerings. I wrote, directed, and edited this short commercial for their program.

Finwatchstraps is a Finnish company that specializes in high-quality handmade straps for vintage and modern watches. They wanted new product photography for their watch straps, which are becoming popular especially among vintage watch enthusiasts. Part of the fun of photographing the straps was trying many different watch+strap combinations and experimenting with various wood- and leather-based backgrounds to create a warm and natural look for the photos.

In addition to providing still images of their products, I partnered with Finwatchstraps to create the above promotional video showcasing the different steps of the strap creation process that takes place in their workshop in Helsinki, Finland.
